Day 3: God, Make my Husband Blameless and Upright as Your Word Promises

Our husbands are to be well-respected within the city... just read this verse:

"Her husband is well known, for he sits in the council meeting with the other civic leaders." Proverbs 31: 23 (NLT)

Today we are going to pray for our husbands to be Blameless and Upright.  For as they go out into the world, we want others to notice they are an amazing man, an awesome husband, a wonderful father, a knowledgeable person, a wise man, etc.  So, instead of us having to say "something" to others, they come a running to us to talk about him! How much more joy that brings to our hearts!

Praise:
God is Righteous and Just! Read Deuteronomy 32:4, 2 Chronicles 19:7, Psalm 7:9-10, Psalm 9:7-8, Psalm 89:14, Psalm 145:17, Isaiah 26:7-9.

Confession
This is a time for examining our hearts before the Lord.  Ask Him to reveal anything that you need to confess, so your prayers are not hindered.

Thanksgiving
Take this time to thank God for answered prayer or for what He is doing in your life, your husband's life, your marriage, your family, etc.

Intercession
Pray the below prayer for your husband to be found Blameless and Upright by inserting your husband's name in the blank spaces.

2 Samuel 22:31-33
Father, I ask that You would reveal to ________ that Your way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried and that _______ can rely on Your Word for everything he needs.  I thank You that You are a Shield to all those who trust and take refuge in You.  For who is God but the Lord? And who is a Rock except our God? May ______ confidently say, "God is my strong Fortress; He guides me in His way and sets me free." May _________'s walk be strengthened today and may he be found blameless in Your sight.

2 Chronicles 16:9
Lord I thank You that the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Yourself strong in behalf of those whose hearts are blameless toward You.  Father I pray that as Your eyes look toward __________, he will find favor and grace in Your eyes, that he would be walking close with You, and as he does, You promise to strengthen him.

Isaiah 41:10
I pray for __________ that he would not fear for (there is nothing to fear), for You are with him.  I pray that __________ would not get discouraged or be afraid, for You are his God and You will strengthen __________, yes, You will help him; You will hold ____________ and retain him in Your (victorious) right hand of rightness and justice.  I pray that ________ will be found faithful to following close behind You in Your righteousness, in Jesus name, I pray, Amen.

"And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith
and believing, you will receive."
Matthew 21:22
